Entity Structures

Organizations are constantly changing. The ability of business systems to adapt to these changes is essential. SAM allows users with the appropriate security access to completely reconfigure their business structure simply with a “click and drag” of the mouse through the Entity Structure system. 

The Entity Structure system also allows users to:

• Create “parent-child” (hierarchical) relationships between entities. For example, an aerial boom on a cab and chassis. Each would be a separate asset number, tracked individually, but linked together for reporting and costing purposes through the Entity Structure system. 
• Track location changes within the entity structure creating a movement record with date and movement reason.
• Easily rollup asset costs to departments for reporting.
